We took a family trip to Lake Arrowhead California with Nana, Papa, Auntie Heater, and Uncle Lyle. Lake Arrowhead is a small village about 20 miles up in the mountains from San Burnadeno.
Beacuse we were not allowed to get in the lake, we did the next best thing and took the boat tour. It was fun to hear the history of Lake Arrowhead and the people who have owned homes there.
As you can see Cory and Haley liked the ride.
I was surprised to see that this small village has a McDonalds, we lucked out and didn't have to eat there, but we did sit the the deck that they had over looking the lake. The table behind Haley is were I was pooped on by a bird, which every one thought was funny but me.
The village had what they called Lollypop Village, it was a small store with all kinds of signs this being one of our favorites. They also had rides for the kids, but we chose to do something else.

This was one of my favorite signs.
Mom and Dad took us all out for dinner at a Mexican restaurant in the village. Sadly nothing that any of us got was very good.
Well we couldn't get in Lake Arrowhead so we drove 10 miles to the next town called Crestline and spent the day in lake Gregory.
Tasha was ready to get in the lake.
This was one of my favorites.
As you can see there wasn't much shade at the lake, but oh did the girls have a great time. So glad that their daddy also loves the water.
Heather and Lyle left Thursday so we had a big home cooked meal on their deck. You can see how they tried to get me to drink pop again, but I didn't give in to the per-presser:)
The town homes that we stayed in had some crafts for the kids to do. They chose to paint flower pots, and of course Cory had to get in on the fun
Haley and Brinley stayed on Utah time the whole trip which meant they were getting up at 6:30. Well Friday night we stayed and Nana and Papa's house and this is what I woke up to at 7:30. Somewhere in that mess is Haley and Brinley sound a sleep.
